ASME Live Design Hackathon
The Live Design Hackathon, organized by ASME EFx India 2023 in collaboration with Autodesk, was held at PES University, Bengaluru on April 1st and 2nd. It presented a challenge aimed at developing an innovative yet functional household device or electronic consumer good that could be 3D printed. The challenge encouraged students to push the boundaries of their creativity and imagination. Participants were granted access to cutting-edge design tools and other resources to bring their ideas to life. This challenge offered opportunities to acquire skills in Additive Manufacturing, Autodesk Fusion 360, programming on Arduino, and even UI/UX design.
Our team, "PILLPERFECT," consisting of Mr. Shinju Shaji (Captain) and Mr. Stibin Benny, secured the All-India Rank 3 for developing "PillPerfect," a cloud-based automatic pill dispenser unit designed for patients with serious illnesses.
